When a yacht at anchor rocks in the waves, life on board can become an ordeal. But there are ways to counteract the rolling motion

Even an anchorage that appears well protected at first glance can become very uncomfortable if the waves hit the boat in such a way that they cause it to roll. But there is a remedy - at least that's what the manufacturers of accessories that are supposed to reduce the nasty rotations around the longitudinal axis promise. A test clarifies how well they work.

For this purpose, the Contest 33 "Maverick too" was fitted with various dampers, the "home remedy" impact bumper on the side wall, the cheap solution "Flopper Stopper" and the luxury variant, the stabilisers from Swi-Tec.
